DISCOVER THE BOARD OF

DIRECTORS 2025-2026

  • Police officer since 2007, Karl has accumulated over 18 years of service, including nine in investigation and management. A dedicated member of Volley Boréal since 2008, he has served on the board of directors since 2019 and has been its president since 2022.

In his role as president, he has orchestrated the creation of the intermediate level and the beach volleyball league, revamped regulations, policies, and the code of ethics, launched committees, and supervised clinics and training programs. He has strengthened the club's governance by ensuring the success of our tournaments, game nights, and social activities, while leading the website redesign, implementing a tracking and communication system, and managing finances and partnerships. He handles unforeseen events and critical situations with composure.

A passionate volunteer, Karl strives to foster a friendly and inclusive spirit within the board of directors, thus ensuring the sustainability and development of the club.

  • Long involved in various volunteer and student engagements, Ludovic has always demonstrated a human and unifying leadership style.

His community involvement intensified following significant personal events in 2023—pivotal moments that fueled his desire to contribute to causes where respect, inclusion, and kindness are core values.

Thus, Ludovic became an administrator in the winter of 2024 and was quickly immersed in organizing the ODYSSEE 2025 tournament, managing communications through newsletters, and developing partnerships and sponsorships.

Sensitive to diversity issues and the protection of LGBTQ+ individuals, Ludovic works to make Volley Boréal a safe, festive, and supportive environment.

Professionally, he is a specialist in procurement planning and supply management, as well as a project manager in continuous improvement. With a rich background in commerce, logistics, data analysis, and continuous improvement, he applies his skills to structuring projects both in sports and business settings.

He also develops creative projects related to well-being (sound massages using Tibetan bowls) and photography.

  • Lawyer focusing his practice on corporate and commercial law, Karim possesses extensive expertise in governance and project development.

He is involved with the Board of Directors of Boréal to support the organization's mission and to actively contribute to the development of an inclusive and unifying space centered around his passion for volleyball.

  • Daniel's interest in being part of the BOREAL Volleyball Board simply stems from his love for the sport, which he has been practicing for 25 years, and his desire to get involved in the LGBT+ community through sports.

This is his third involvement, under three different presidents with their distinct visions, but all sharing the same goal: to make the league visible among amateur volleyball leagues in Montreal and beyond.

The new objective that is close to his heart is to develop the players' skill levels by offering them opportunities for improvement, regardless of their division or current level.

  • A passionate player since 2009, Caroline wishes, through her involvement on the board of directors, to help make this sport accessible to as many people as possible and to promote female participation within our league.

  • Esaul is delighted to join the board of directors of Volley Boréal and to contribute to the development of volleyball.

Passionate about this sport and motivated to support our community, he hopes to bring his energy and commitment to promote its influence and growth.

  • A dedicated professional in the non-profit sector, Roy is also a long-time volleyball enthusiast.

Joining the board of directors of Volley-Boréal is, for him, the perfect opportunity to combine his passion with community involvement.

He brings his experience in project management and citizen engagement to actively contribute to the growth of the club, promote inclusion, and elevate volleyball within our community.

  • Having studied social work, Francis professionally supports organizations in maximizing their potential in philanthropy and fundraising.

He is interested in helping and bringing his expertise to Volley Boréal and is happy to contribute voluntarily to continue our mission as a team!
