A grand hello to the Boréal gang!
I hope this message finds you in the
best of spirits and that you're all making the most of Galarneau's
presence! Here, on my end, I'm taking off to California for a couple
of days, catching up on some much-needed rest, especially after
having lived through such a remarkably eventful summer.
As many of you already know, I have had
quite the privilege of serving as President for the LGBTA Gay Pride
Celebrations this summer. Now, only two weeks since that fabulous
event took place, I can happily announce that our assessment is
truly positive, as is the case on all fronts! This memorable project,
undertaken in less than 8 weeks, was made possible thanks to the
dedication of several members of VOLLEY BORÉAL and Équipe Montréal.
At the heart of the Organizing Committee are: Michel Villeneuve,
Jean-Sébastien Boudreault and Stéphane
Proulx. Office staff include Jeffrey Spivock, Louis-Alain Robitaille,
Bobby Gardner, Sylvain Marchand, Raymond Allen and Daniel Vaudrin.
Through their dynamic efforts and complete devotion, we have once
again witnessed how truly committed members of our sport community
are! A big thanks to all! Check out the photo gallery at Célébration

The 2007-2008 Season for VOLLEY BORÉAL
promises to be exceptional with the 24th edition
of Big Jump, as well as this year's 5th Happy Birthday Tournament
and Odyssee's 10th Edition.
We're bound to make history with such a variety of festivities,
no doubt! We encourage all to join and participate in great numbers
and if you can, you are more than welcome to help us with the organization
of these events!
As for the Club's regular activities,
the administrators have decided to emphasize all recreational and
competitive facets of the Club. As a matter of fact, our aim is
to register 56 regular players and 10 replacements for Monday nights.
We're also hoping to register 4 teams for the L.V.B.M.'s weekly
league, not to mention 16 players (or 2 entire teams) for Wednesday's
training night. Many new members have already expressed an interest
in joining the Club. Count yourself in during the 4 Pre-Registration
Nights at Cocktail if you want to guarantee your spot!
Wishing you all a wonderful time amongst
us!

Group registration only (per team). Weekly
League (Men's C on Tuesdays) and Week-end Tournaments (Men's C
on Saturdays). Volley Boréal will offer a $50 discount to
team-registration fees for the Ligue de volley-ball de Montréal (L.V.B.M).
Individual participant registrations may be taken into account
when attempting to complete an existing team. Teams are asked to
pay the full fee, regardless of the number of players registered.
The refund policy for the registration
fees to the volleyball league are quite simple: In the event of
physical injury or moving, it is possible to get a partial reimbursement
of your registration fees. By desisting during the initial 5 weeks
of an activity, your refund will deminish by $7 per participated
week. After 5 weeks of an activity, no refund will be given out
to participants. Please note that the membership cards are not
eligible for refund, without exception.
