— 24th BIG JUMP Volleyball Tournament

OCTOBER 5-7, 2007

VOLLEY BOREAL, Montréal’s GLBT volleyball club, invites you to take part in its 24th Big Jump 2007 Volleyball Tournament, which will be held during Columbus weekend from October 5 to 7, 2007. It will be an action-packed, fun-filled weekend and a unique opportunity to experience the warmth and joie de vivre for which Montrealers are world-renowned.

Competition Format

The Big Jump is a competitive tournament. AA-A-BB teams will be all playing together in the first qualifying round. Then, the teams will be divided in smaller pools after having played each of the 2 qualifying rounds. The players don’t have to be ranked or be member of an association to participate.

B-C teams will be all playing together in the first qualifying round. Then, the teams will be divided in smaller pools after having played each of the 2 qualifying rounds. The players don’t have to be ranked or be member of an association to participate.

BLACK & BLUE Festival

The Venue

More than 35 teams from Europe, USA and Canada will join us and have an incredible weekend full of fun and friendship. This year, the tournament will again be held at the superb facilities of the Cégep Édouard Montpetit in the nearby suburb of Longueuil.

Registration

• Early Registration fee is $525 CAD from August 15, 2007 to September 5, 2007 (payment received).
• Late Registration fee is $575 CAD from September 6, 2007 to September 27, 2007 (payment received). No payment accepted on October 5 during Registration Night.
• American Teams: Send a check in US$ as a guarantee. On Registration Night, the check will be given back to you in exchange for CAD$ ($525 CAD or $575 CAD, depending on when you registered).
